Why Obstetrics and Gynaecology?

It is a very rewarding specialty.  Supporting families through their pregnancy, labour and delivery and facilitating a safe,  calming and hopefully rewarding birth experience is my aim.  I like my patients to know that I have their back and support their informed choices to achieve positive and safe outcomes. There is growing birth trauma and listening to patients needs promotes trust, distills confidence  and empowers women to achieve a positive birth  and promotes healing for others.  Suvi
